    Day 1   Welcome to Beijing
Welcome to Beijing, China’s cultural Center for the past 700 years. Your tour guide will meet you at Beijing Capital Airport and escort you to your hotel.
    Day 2   Beijing B,L,D
China’s imperial heritage comes to life as you tour Beijing’s famous landmarks. Visit sprawling Tiananmen Square and the Imperial Palace at the Forbidden City. Your tour includes admission to the living quarters of the emperors, as well as the museum and jewelry sections. The pavilions of the storied Summer Palace round up your day in this great city. Tonight you are our guests at a Peking Duck dinner party.

Enjoy a full day’s tour of the Great Wall, one of the greatest engineering feats of the ancient world. Another high point of the excursion is the Sacred Way and its remarkable statues that stand vigil at the entrance of the tombs of the Ming emperors and Chang Ling Exhibition Hall. Next visit the ornate Temple of Heaven, where the emperors of the Ming and the Qing Dynasties prayed for good harvests. The temple is not only especially glamorous, it is also an architectural wonder because not a single nail was used for its construction.
    Day 4   Beijing / Xian B,L,D
Take the short, two-hour flight to Xian, Imperial Capital of the Tang Dynasty and eastern terminus of the fabled Silk Road, a city with a long tradition of welcoming foreign visitors. You’ll begin our visit with a tour of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, built in 652 AD to house Buddhist scriptures from India. You’ll stroll through Xian’s bustling markets and visit the Provincial History Museum where you’ll see artifacts from the Paleolithic period, priceless Tang Dynasty bronzes and treasures from the Silk Road caravans. Lunch and dinner will be at local restaurants.

Today you’ll visit what for many is the high point of their trip to China - the excavation site of the Terra-Cotta Warriors. More than 6000 soldiers, ministers and horses, each individually sculpted from a real life model, stand guarding Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s still unopened tomb. You’ll have plenty of time to explore the site, get a good look at the warriors from various vantage points and visit the excellent museum. Tonight you’ll celebrate Xian’s rich history with dinner and entertainment.
    Day 6   Xi’an / Guiyang B,L,D
Visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi on the way to the airport. After lunch, take a flight to Guiyang and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

    Day 7   Guiyang / Kali B,L,D
Visit the Qingyan Old Town. Drive to Kaili and check in at the hotel. After lunch, visit the traditional way of paper-making and a Long-skirt Miao Village. You will experience the Miao people'''' daily life by visiting the local families. Meanwhile, you can appreciate the Miao people''''s typical architecture - Wooden Stilt House. (B+L)

    Day 8   Kali / Rongjiang B,L,D
Visit another Long-skirt Miao Village. Then drive to a village nearby to see the pottery-making. En route, explore a Shui People''s Village located in a deep valley. Late afternoon, arrive at Rongjiang. (B+L+D)

    Day 9   Rongjiang / Congjiang / Zhaoxing B,L,D
Drive to visit Yintan Dong Village. Family visit will be arranged. Then explore Basha Miao Village noted for men''''s hair dresses. In the afternoon, drive to Zhaoxing, visit the largest Dong People''''s Village in China.

    Day 10   Zhaoxing / Sanjiang / Longsheng B,L,D
Morning explore Tang''an Dong Village noted as the first ecological museum of Dong people. Then drive to Sanjiang. Visit the Chenyang Wind and Rain Bridge and explore the Dong villages nearby. Late afternoon, arrive at Longsheng.

    Day 11   Longsheng / Guilin B,L,D
Visit the most spectacular Terraced Fields and the Yao People''s Village in Longsheng. Late afternoon, transfer to Guilin. Enjoy Ethnic Songs and Dances at Lijiang Theatre after dinner. (B+L+D)

    Day 12   Guilin B,L,D
A highlight of any trip to China is the Li River cruise which passes through some of the most dramatic and beautiful scenery on earth. Simply relax and enjoy the views as you slowly wind our way through rain-washed valleys, past bright green rice paddies, through bamboo forests and beneath towering cliffs. Afterwards there will be time to explore Guilin on your own or to visit the markets and bargain for souvenirs. Transfer back to Guilin and visit the Reed Flute Cave and the Elephant Trunk Hill.
    Day 13   Guilin / Hangzhou B,L,D
Fly to Hangzhou by morning flight and check in at Shangri-la Hotel. After lunch you will visit Six Harmonies Pagoda and the Lingyin Temple.
    Day 14   Hangzhou / Suzhou B,L,D
After breakfast you will take a cruise on the beautiful West Lake and take a tour to the Dragon Well Tea Village after lunch take a coach to Suzhou directly and stay in Shangri-La Hotel.
    Day 15   Suzhou B,L,D
After breakfast, visit the Tiger Hill, the Humble Administrator’s Garden and enjoy the garden show at the Fishing-net Garden.
    Day 16   Suzhou / Shangha B,L,D
After breakfast visit the silk factory and take your coach to Shanghai and stay in a five star hotel for relax until acrobatic show after dinner.
    Day 17   Shanghai B,L,D
Visit the Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden and the Bund, take a walk along the famous Nanjing Road. After lunch, take a cruise tour on the Huangpu River. The farewell dinner is served at the hotel.
    Day 18   Shanghai / USA via Beijing B
Bid farewell to Shanghai. You’ll be driven back to the airport for your flight home via Beijing.
